INFORMATION ABOUT UE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Project:
Development of an innovative heat engine that enables the pumping of fluids by utilizing energy from a low-temperature heat source.
The value of the project is
4 472 534,76 PLN
The contribution of the European Funds is
3 489 631,29 PLN
The subject of the project is R&D work and pre-implementation work aimed at developing a new type of heat engine that will enable the pumping of fluids using renewable or waste energy sources known as low-temperature heat sources.
By using the above solution, it will be possible to replace the pumps and pump control systems, which are currently powered by electricity. Industrial research (stages 1 and 2) and development work (stage 3) will be carried out for this purpose.
In order to create the appropriate engine design, a mathematical model, engine components and constituent parts will be developed. As a result of the industrial research, a demonstrative prototype of the pumping engine will be created. In the course of development work, a series of prototypes will be tested. During pre-implementation work, production documentation, intellectual property protection, market analysis, and sales and marketing strategy will be prepared.
The developed solution will be an innovation on an international scale. The target product fits perfectly with the trends prevailing in the market of renewable energy sources, including low-emission economy. Thanks to the fact that the device does not use external electrical energy sources, water pumping is cheaper and more environmentally friendly.
